Listing/Modifying and Deleting Backup Policies

Follow the process mentioned below to list/modify and delete an existing backup policy:

Listing / Modifying a Backup Policy

  1. Login to your Control Panel, Search for the domain name for which you have purchased this Hosting Order and go to the Order Information view. 1

  2. Click the Manage Web Hosting link.

  3. In the Menu, point to Manage Website -> Backup Manager -> List Backup Policies.

  4. If you wish to modify a policy, click the link for the directory whose backup policy you wish to modify.

  5. Modify one of the following fields:

    • No. of Backlogs: Your backup archives will be rotated these many times before being deleted.

    • Rotation Cycle: Select either Daily, Weekly or Monthly from the drop-down. Archive files are rotated depending upon the cycle you select.

  6. Click Submit.

Deleting a Backup Policy

  1. Login to your Control Panel, Search for the domain name for which you have purchased this Hosting Order and go to the Order Information view. 2

  2. Click the Manage Web Hosting link.

  3. In the Menu, point to Manage Website -> Backup Manager -> List Backup Policies.

  4. Select the check box adjacent to the directory whose backup policy you wish to delete.

  5. Click Delete and then click OK.

Listing / Modifying a Backup Policy

  1. Login to your Control Panel, Search for the domain name for which you have purchased this Hosting Order and go to the Order Information view. 4

  2. Click the Manage Web Hosting link.

  3. In the Menu, point to Manage Website and then click Backup Manager.

  4. Modify your current backup policy as needed.

  5. Click Save.
