Modifying the Disk Quota of an FTP User

Disk Quota of an FTP User is the maximum disk space allocated to that User. By setting a quota for the FTP User, you are restricting this user from uploading more data than the specified limit. Follow the below steps to modify the quota of a particular User:

  1. Login to your Control Panel. 1

  2. Proceed to the Web Hosting Management interface. 2

  3. In the Menu, point to Manage Website -> FTP User Manger and then click List FTP Users. This would give a list of all FTP Users associated with your Web Hosting package.

  4. Click the desired FTP User to go to the Details view.

  5. Here, select the checkbox next to Restrict Web space. In the adjoining text field, enter the limit you wish to impose for that particular User.

  6. Click the Modify button.
